We’re only a few days into the new year, and I’m already thinking about all the projects I would like to complete around the house this year. It’s going to be tough since we have a baby due to arrive in May, but I think at least some of these things can be accomplished.
- Strip wall paper and paint nursery for new baby
- Hang pictures and art on walls
- Build a workbench in the garage
- Refinish kitchen cabinets
- Paint living room/dining room
- Paint kitchen
- Organize the storage room
- Organize the garage
- Walkway in front yard
- Replace light switches and outlets
If we had the money, I would really like to do these things:
- Replace windows
- Install AC
- Remodel small bathroom
It’s going to be a busy year if I can accomplish half of this stuff. Who wants to help?
This is the week that we are supposed to close on our new home.
It’s a little scary. There’s so much that needs to happen between now and the end of the week. I’m not sure how it can possibly get done.
With that said, we continue to receive assurance that everything is on track. So, I guess I should relax. It’s just hard to not be anxious about the process.
It turns out “anytime” was soon.
We heard from the bank yesterday afternoon that the short sale was approved. We should close escrow in the beginning of December.
I can’t tell you how excited I am that we will be in our new home for Christmas. It’s such a relief that there is an end in sight now.
I realize it’s been a while.
We are still waiting on the short sale in Glendale.
We hear a resolution could come anytime now. Here’s hoping that “anytime” is soon.
We are blessed to be living with Erin’s parents in the meantime, but are ready to have a place to call our own again.
We are now in uncharted waters.
We’ve had our offer accepted on a short sale in Glendale.
No telling how long the process might take.
No telling what’s in store.
But, in a strange way I feel relieved to finally have a offer on something excepted.
Here’s hoping we have a short and relatively pain free process.
