Sometimes I Love Burbank

This weekend the very large tree in my front yard dropped a very large branch in the middle of the street.

No one was injured, and no damage was done, thankfully. But, had I been parked in my normal spot, my car would have been toast.

This morning I emailed the city’s community assistance coordinator, and within minutes he responded alerting the proper departments to clean up the mess and asses the tree.

Within a few hours I received confirmation that the fallen branches had been cleared and that initial assessment didn’t indicate any additional danger. They also agreed to come out and trim the tree in the next month. Awesome.

This was much more than I ever expected.

Good job Burbank.
