Interesting Use of Twitter

Last night, as I was watching the E! True Hollywood Story on Michael Jackson, I noticed an interesting use of Twitter.  Along the bottom of the television screen E! had a news ticker, except it wasn’t displaying news in the true sense of the word.  It was displaying the most recent tweets of several celebrities.  Kind of an interesting idea for a channel focused on entertainment news.  So, as I watched the story of MJ I was treated to the tweets of @mileycyrus, @johncmayer and the like.
