United Burbank

As you probably know, I've been keeping up with the Burbank Winter Shelter saga and when I come across new information I like to pass it along. The reason it interests me so much is because it pertains to my immediate community, my career and my faith convictions.  I came across this recently.
UnitedBurbank is a group of Burbank citizens located close to Pacific Park in Burbank, California. Recent decisions by the City Council regarding a winter homeless shelter in our neighborhood have outraged us to the point of action. We are a grassroots effort as close to the grassroots as it gets. We’re knocking on doors, informing our neighbors, and uniting our community.
Interesting huh? Their website is unitedburbank.com and it's a combination of blog posts from an anonymous source, weekly program reports from the city manager's office, and a couple pictures of homeless people in, or around, Pacific Park.  There is also a form to join their contact list. What I find oddly missing is the ability to discuss or leave comments on their posts.
