There's always something to do in Burbank. Erin and I definitely keep more than busy. Here are a couple things we're doing that you might consider if you don't already have plans.
Erin and I went to the opening night of the John Burroughs High School Pop Show last night. The show did not disappoint. We had a great time, and as always the singing and dancing was amazing. It’s incredible how talented those kids are.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the first Pop Show at Burroughs. If you want to check it out for yourself there are shows tonight through Sunday.
AMC Best Picture Showcase
Tomorrow morning, bright and early, Erin and I will head over to the AMC Burbank Town Center 6 for a 5-movie marathon of the Academy Award Best Picture Nominees. We'll spend all day watching Milk, Frost/Nixon, Slumdog Millionaire, The Reader, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. This will be the first time we've seen all best picture nominees before the award show.
I'm not sure if tickets are still available, but if you haven't already seen all the nominees this is a great way to catch up.
