I put in my seven hours of contact wearing today, so my day is over
right? I'm kind of exhausted. Or, at least my eyes are. For those of
you who don't know, I received my first pair of contact lenses this
weekend. My doctor recommended that I only wear them for 4 hours the
first day and add one hour each following day. Today I'm up to 7
hours. I probably could have managed another couple hours in them, but
I want to follow the doctor's orders and let my eyes slowly adjust to
the thin layer of plastic I'm placing over them.

I'm really enjoying being able to see without the aid of glasses.
Everything is so much clearer with contacts. But, I definitely feel
those things on my eyes and it's a pain to insert and remove them. It
is getting easier each day I must confess. I just have to remind
myself that it's only been four days now.
