Weekend Update

Friday Night
Erin and I had a fancy dinner at Sizzler and hung out around the house.  We were pretty boring.

Church budget meeting followed by Adopt-A-Block and then b-day celebration for my sister at my parents’ house.  While at my parents’ I got to play around a little with my brother’s newest toy.  You’ll have to ask him about it, but it gave us reason to spend the afternoon at Ecology Auto Wrecking.

The birthday celebration was for my little sister, Erin.  She turned 18 last week. It’s a little hard to believe but it’s true.

Sunday was long, and kind of tough. My only responsibility at church was leading worship, and how that went depends on who you ask.  My mind was elsewhere, but I tried really hard to leave that behind.

After church Erin and I went to lunch at Foxy’s in Glendale and then to the grand opening of some home goods store in La Canada.

Following our little shopping trip, in which we purchased nothing, Erin got her hair cut by a friend while I took a nap.

We finished the evening serving dinner in Glendale’s PATH Achieve and having coffee with some friends.
