Went out to dinner with some new friends who were headed back home to Ohio for the school year. Hope they can come back next summer.
Cleaned, cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more while watching SOAPnet. Yes, SOAPnet. Beverly Hills 90210. Need I say more? After several hours of that the Jeffs (brother Jeff and his friend Jeff) came over and helped me change the front brakes on my in-laws old Oldsmobile. Unfortunately, it turns out that it was the rear brakes that needed replacing. I guess that'll be another project for another day.
After baking some fish for dinner, I spent the evening watching the Olympics and uploading photos to Facebook. I found a new plugin for iPhoto that will allow you to export photos straight to Facebook. It is so simple. I might actually upload photos to Facebook more often now.
Went to church and then rushed home immediately after to prepare for Youth and Family Small Group. We met at Pacific Park, which is just a block from my house. It was a warm day, but we had a great time. Erin worked really hard and made some awesome taco salad/tostadas. I am so blessed to have her for my wife.
We got home from the park at about 4:30 PM and we just vegged the rest of the evening. We watched The Siege, which is an interesting movie to see in a post 9/11 world. Released in 1998, it was about terrorist cells in New York City. The movie was just eerie.
After The Siege, we watched the last bit of the Olympics and the Closing Ceremony and then I went to sleep.
