Eating lunch out is getting expensive! To get a simple combo from Carl’s Jr. or Subway you have to pay $7 or $8. That’s a lot of money when you think about it. If you eat lunch out 5 days a week you’re spending upwards of $35. And, if you’re like me, by the time you get home at the end of the day you don’t feel like cooking so you eat out again. It’s scary when you think about it, and I’m not even thinking about the health aspect of it all. Yikes!
With that in mind, here’s my challenge for you. Join me in an attempt to save a little money, and hopefully eat healthier, this month by bringing a sack lunch to work. Eating out is soo OUT. Let’s EAT IN! Today doesn’t count because I haven’t done any grocery shopping yet and was forced at gun-point to eat at Carl’s Jr. but I’m going to commit to bringing a sack lunch to work every day this month. It’s time to set aside the burgers and fries, no matter how tasty they are. You’re pocket-book will appreciate it, and so will your body.
