On the way home from work today I heard Death Cab for Cutie’s new single, I Will Poses Your Heart, on KROQ. It caught me a little off guard because I wasn’t expecting it to be released yet. In fact, it took me a little while to realize it was them, but after a few short moments I recognized the familiar voice of Ben Gibbard. The song itself both sounds like Death Cab and not at the same time. I’ll have to hear it a few more times before I pass judgement, but it was interesting and different. The new album comes out on May 13th. You can bet I’ll have it in my on my ipod or in my car stereo shortly after its release.
Also, I hear there’s a new Weezer track floating around out there. I haven’t heard it yet, but I’m about to launch an all-out search for it.
