10 Things for Which I Am Thankful

I realize I’m a little slow at posting this, seeing as Thanksgiving Day was last week, but I like to stretch out the Thanksgiving season as long as possible.  It really is my favorite time of the year. When else does the entire country focus on being thankful for what they have? I only wish the season lasted longer.   It’s kind of anticlimactic for the day after Thanksgiving to be the biggest shopping day of the year. We really should spend more time on being thankful.  Anyway, with that said, here’s my list of 10 things for which I’m thankful (in no particular order).

  1. God – No explanation needed
  2. Wife – I couldn’t ask for a more loving, thoughtful, caring woman
  3. Family – Including my parents, siblings, the in-laws and the out-laws
  4. Friends – Everyone needs friends
  5. Home – I love my cute, little, church-owned house
  6. Church – Even though it causes headaches sometimes
  7. Work – Both Union Station Foundation and Glendale Church of Christ
  8. Car – Both the Focus and the 88, even though it’s been a headache
  9. Computer – I love this thing
  10. Food – I had a great birthday dinner last night at the Smoke House in Burbank
