Two Quick Things

1. Who puts a cup of coffee in a bag?
This morning on my way into work I stopped at Burger King to order a breakfast sandwich and some coffee.  I was certainly surprised when the woman at the drive through window handed me two bags.  It didn't even register that she had told me "your coffee's in the first bag."  Honestly, who puts coffee in a bag?  Common sense would tell you that is a lawsuit waiting to happen.  "Here, let me hand you a bag with a cup of hot coffee in it."  Who cares if the cup spills over. It's in a paper bag.  It'll be safe.  And, I'm sure the customer wont mind if they loose half the cup of coffee because it tipped over in the bag.  Also, isn't it a waste of a good paper bag?  I'm going to take out the coffee and drink it.  It's already contained in it's own container.  Why would it need another one?
2. Do people really wash their jeans after every individual use?
I was talking with a co-worker this morning and she told me her teenage son makes her wash his jeans after one wearing?  Is that crazy? Or, am I crazy for wearing mine until they visibly show dirt or smell? Maybe I'm not as clean a person as I had once thought.

  1. I wash my jeans every after time I wear them (almost) for two reasons: 1) I have two little boys that are messy, and 2) they stretch out (the jeans, not the boys) after wearing them all day. However, I can’t see either of these things affecting a teenage guy… you’re still clean, it’s alright.
