Computer Literate

A coworker came up to me this afternoon and asked the following question: Are you computer literate like the rest of your generation?

Of course, that question was just a segue to another question, but I still thought it was kind of funny to ask me that. Obviously, not everyone in my generation is computer literate. I could name a few illiterates for you, but I won’t. It would not be nice. It causes me to wonder though, is this what my generation will be known for? And, if that is the case, what will the next generation be known for? Any thoughts?

  1. I’ve been told that our generation is known for wanting things “now”. As in, “I e-mailed you 3 hours ago – you didn’t get it?” I think we should all think this way, and am proud of us :). Now… get to work!
