You may notice a few changes around here in the next several days. I have upgraded to Blogger beta, and in doing so I lost some of the formatting on which I had worked so hard. It is a little disappointing to loose all that hard work, but I would be lying if I did not say half the fun is changing things around every once in a while. Hopefully, the new features gained in this upgrade will prove to be worthwhile, but if they are not I guess it is not a huge loss. After all, this is only a blog.

So far the biggest disappointment I have is that in Blogger beta we are not able to edit the HTML. I think this is a vital functionality that is necessary for this new platforms success. If that proves to be the only issue though, and I think they are actively working to add this option, then I see no reason to not make the switch to beta.

If you are interested in this new platform, but are not quite ready to make the leap check back with me. I will keep you updated as I explore new features and test the limits of this new platform.

Update: There is a simple way to add the html code for things like StatCounter, but it’s not the full HTML editor we had in the old Blogger.
