I like, no, love coffee. On mornings when I am not quite sure if I am going to make it, it is the sweet nectar that gets me moving. However, I do have to say that there is nothing more disappointing than a bad cup of coffee. I am talking about cups where you can feel the grounds sift through your teeth as you take each sip. Maybe some people enjoy that, but not me. My coffee from McDonalds this morning was like that. Usually I can count on the golden arches for a quality cup of joe however this morning, a morning on which the jolt of caffeine was desperately needed, I was let down by the king of the fast food empire. And, now I am forced to drink the sad offerings of the Pepperdine break room. I think we purchase our coffee from a fine coffee distributor called Office Depot. Maybe you have heard of them? Needless to say, it is not very good coffee either; so, I suppose I will just have to give up on finding that quality cup of warm, dark, goodness this morning and settle for something a little less satisfying.
