One of “Those” Days

Today is definitely one of “those” days. I’m talking about the days about which your mother warned you. As the song goes, “Mama said there’d be days like this,” except, I don’t really remember such a warning.

My car wouldn’t start. The rear tire on my wife’s car was suspiciously low on air, and not to mention out of gas. I have a million things to do at work. I feel kind of crappy. And, I wish I was at home watching the rain from the comfort of my couch.

I guess I should be thankful that I was able to make it to work, and that my wife was able to carpool today, but it’s more dramatic to complain.

  1. Here’s to crappy Mondays!I’m answering phones for someone who is not and will never be my boss, training her annoying assistant, teaching them how to order food from the commissary, and counting down the days until I start my new job (3 1/2 and counting…)!I knew I should have been sick today.
