Valentine’s Day Advice

Let me tell you, the best thing you can do for Valentines Day is to take your wife, fiancée, girlfriend, or significant other out for dinner the night before so you can skip the rush and insanity that is associated with going out that evening. Ok, so maybe that won’t work for everyone but I have to say it was one of the most peaceful, relaxing, dinning experiences I’ve had in a long time. The hour we spent talking and eating our prime rib while gazing down at the city of Burbank from atop the mountain where our restaurant of choice sat was one of the best in while. I don’t advocate that you do this without the consent of your significant other however. That would probably take you out into dangerous waters. But, if your woman is in agreement, I say go for it, you won’t be let down… unless you like the rush, and crowds that are associated with dining out on an evening like tonight.

P.S. You, however, should still at least buy flowers and a card for your valentine on the actual day. It’ll make you look even better.

  1. We did the same thing! Sounds like you went to a nicer restaurant. Ours rhymes with “heavies,” which is how I felt after. But it was so relaxing, not crowded, and peaceful. Really nice.
